We'​re havin​g a 1 year anniv​ersar​y party​ to celeb​rate 1 year of World​ Famou​s In San Franc​isco.​ There​ will be drink​s,​ prize​s and a private scree​ning of Steph​en Kijak​'​s docum​entar​y Scott​ Walke​r:​ 30 Centu​ry Man. This film does not have US distribution. The director, a close friend provided a DVD for personal use. This is a private event. E-mail for details.

this is one of those e-mails going around claiming that it's sad but true...see below

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:
Walmart Employee: "Hello 'dis Walmarts, how can I help you?"
Customer: "Yes, I would like to order a cake for a going away party this
week."
Walmart Employee: "Whatchu want on the cake?"
Customer: "Best Wishes Suzanne." And underneath that "We will miss you".

Sad but true. This actually happened.

TransAM was super fun! Lots of people came out in the crappy weather, the beard party was in full swing, and there were even some cute guys. The downstairs DJ, DJ Jef Leopard, played some seriously choice records -- that is, if you like that British DIY kind of thing, trashy seventies rock, tropicalia, and 'good' punk like the Dead Boys, and Iggy.
