Jeremy Smears is in love with this band right now. The Units were an early New Wave/Synthpunk band founded in San Francisco in 1978 and existing until 1984. Primary members were Scott Ryser and Rachel Webber.

Yay! I do love this record, even if Elton doesn't. It came out in 1980 and has a song with a chorus that goes "the mission is bitchin" and that rules. The mission of 1980 seems to be about burritos and marijuana. Some things don't change!
